The NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) course is designed to teach an evidence-based approach to resuscitation of the newborn, the causes, prevention, and management of mild to severe neonatal asphyxia are carefully explained so that the health professionals may develope optimal knowledge and skill in resucitation.

The NRP is an educational program that introduces the concepts and basic skills of neonatal resucitation.   Completion of the program does not imply that an individual has the competence to perform neonatal resuscitation.  Each hospital is reponsible for determining the level of competence and qualifications required for someone to assume clinical reponsibility for neonatal resuscitation. 

Please note this scheduled time is a skills session, you must complete the on line portion by going to NRP.AAP.ORG take the e-simms test, complete, print and bring with you on the date of the class.   This must be accomplished to attend the class.
