The ACLS course builds on the foundation of lifesaving Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers skills, emphasizing the importance of continuous, high-quality CPR. This Advanced Course highlights the importance of team dynamics and communication, systems of care, and immediate post-cardiac arrest care. ACLS also covers airway management and related pharmacology.

Skills are taught in large-group sessions and small-group learning and testing stations where case-based scenarios are presented.

Do You Need BLS? You can also get your BLS for Healthcare Providers Certification during this course by adding BLS Online & Skills from the menu below. Complete Part 1 online via the Internet, print the completion certificate and bring it with you on the day of the course. The skills testing part 2 will be done during your ACLS class.

MANDATORY PRECOURSE MATERIAL

Students are required to complete pre-course material which consists of 2 parts:

(1) Video Lessons 

(2) Self-assessment

 Both must be completed and brought with you the day of class.

BE ADVISED; Any student arriving without the pre-course material will not be allowed to sit in the class and will have to reschedule. **A reschedule fee will be applied and can be found in the term of service.
